maybe he claims it can't be done cuz of the strict laws in australia. Don't you need to have an engineer o.k. any suspension mods to be legal to drive?

Yes...you flip the bottom mount the same way you do the top! Just simply unbolt it & then bolt it back on, but place it on top of the lower control arm.

Whenever I work on my truck I always place it up on jack stands & if you do that in the front it will make things so much easier. After that I just removed the wheels & placed the jack under the lower control arm, unbolted the lower mount & just moved it to the top. It helps if you have a extra set of hands helping you so one person can hold the spindle/hub while the other puts the bolts back into the lower arm.

sorry havnt been on guys, have been working and pretty sick....i think i got a spider bite....

anyways, ive had a talk with some people about things i want done - i asked about 100+ spoke rims over 18" are gonna cost me about $430 each, and $160ish for tyres from the same place, an exhaust - full from front to back is about $600 lowering $430 baggs in the rear only so the dif hits the ground $2700 and a full body drop is $7500

now after all of that the legalities are - i cant legally lower my car more than an inch, why? something to do with the law for comercial vehicles blah blah, but the guy sho does it has an engineer who can write up a report for me - cha ching!

anyone got a spare $7500 to give me? actually for you over there it would be like $6000 or so...so ya see, its an investment!!!

I always tell people when they lower the rear & want the best drop is to install a 3-inch lowering block kit & remove the center leaf spring...keeping the main spring & overload-fat/short leaf spring.
