Ugg, sorry guys I havent been on much lately, been depressed cuz I dont have a job or a tag on my truck... anyways I spent my last $11.17 on gas today at $3.35 a gallon... that will last me to school and back... either way I picked up a boat, borrowed the money from a good friend of mine, for 150 bucks.. its a 1973 glastron 18 foot with a 50 horse outboard... has nice interior, brand new carpet and 3/4 floor, needs paint job, the steering wheel is jammed or something, and the motor needs wired, the guy tried running a push start, so I have to reconect the original ignition... Also it came with a brand new 200 dollar deka marine battery..scoree... also scored a free boat, also a glastron, like a 15 footer for free, with a custom hauler trailer.. not sure what ill do with it, the lady was super nice and said she gave it to me because she wanted it to a good home and not scrapped but it might be more work than I can put in it... the trailer is sweet, and it has a steering cable that i might need for my other boat, but other then the hull its nothing... heres a few crappy pictures... they have been sitting for a while so they look terrible but Ill post some good pics cleaned up...
Sell that sh t especially if u you barely got gas money to get to school. Plus you can get all kinds of toys when you finish school and get a good job.
Word... Old boats are just holes in the water where you toss all your money. Not something you want to get into when you can't afford the basics of survival.
Fudge that make it a house boat and live in it. Who needs school, job and money when you have your own house boat. HAHAHA jk
I know what you guys are saying but the boat is solid, I know things break a lot on boats, new or old... its a project for me and my friends so its not for sale, Ill let it sit if i cant fix it.. and I have no bills and school is paid for so whats 150 bucks gunna do for me...
Depressed because you don't have any money for tabs or anything else in general and you just put your last bit of money into the gas tank. Then you borrowed money to buy a boat. Huh I guess you're right we are all dumb and just don't understand how the world works.
**** man i just got gas were i live and it was 3.65 a gallon diesel is 4.02 a gallon, its the end of days people...lol
didnt say u were wrong. and maybe depressed wasnt the right word, didnt mean i was depressed just admitting that it sucks not having money or a job.. I borrowed the money because I knew my train horn was going to sell this weekend which it did so now im debt free and have a few bucks left..
dude that sucks... hopefully we can start drilling here soon and stop depending on people who cant even function on their own..
