    Hi everyone!
Just joined the forum because I just got a Toyota Mini.
1994 Base Model Red 5 Speed Manual no power steering 144K miles runs great.

A few things I am interested in are installing bucket seats, what ones will go in the easiest and what can I expect to pay for them?

Also how difficult is it to install power steering?

    Thanks

mighty thanks for the reply. It seems that power steering wouldn't be worth the trouble but I definitely need to get rid of the worn out bench seat. I took a quick look at your link and saw the red truck that is damn near identical to mine (it's also red) I live in Pittsburgh PA.

Yah bro no need for power steering really.. I got 4 runner buckets in my 91 to make them fit my 94 I would have to slightly mod the bracket so Im not sure what bolt system they have in a 93 I guess depends on what you have in there right now. Id say for a good pair of buckets Id pay $150. I got my runner seats from a junkyard for free but thats just luck. If you can make brackets and stuff you can basically put whatever seat in the world you want in the truck, you can even use your existing brackets in some cases. Welcome to TM

I really would prefer something that bolts right in, I don't really have fabrication skills and I'm not making a show truck out of her.
Long story short, I owned a 2010 Nissan Titan Crew Cab 4wd, paying over $500 a month for it and another $200 - 250 on gas got old quick, especially for so much truck that I used so little of. Traded that in for a 2010 Honda Fit, and bought the '94 Yota because I still have a need for a truck i.e. Dirt bike hauling, home store excursions.
My goal for the truck is to keep it running strong for a long time and in great working order. The seat in there now is a vinyl bench seat that is really worn out, I just want to put in some buckets so that I can use the space in between to store "things". So far all I've done is replace the windshield it was cracked all the way across.

Other plans for the truck (pending passing Pennsylvania state inspection):

-Complete Paint job (repair all rust spots and paint) Any idea what that costs roughly?
    >There is not a lot of rust but the passenger side front quarter panel is pretty rough
-Install CD player and new speakers
    -Tint Windows
-New shocks all the way around
-Replace all fluids i.e. Oil, brake, tranny, differential

Any insight on any of the above plans or suggestions on how to do them in the easiest manner please let me know, thanks for all of the replies so far.

I'll take and post some pics tonight!

Now that I think about it I think the reason my runner seats would not go into my xcab is because the tranny tunnel had to be longer and wider running through cab so yah Im guessing since you have a reg cab truck the runner seats should bolt directly in. As I mentioned previously as well as dgerfan mentioned our runner seats bolted directly in. My seats came out a 95 runner into a 91 his came from earlier runner into his 94 so I dont see a problem if you were to buy runner seats and put them in your truck.

I'm on a mission to get some runner seats, are they separate seats or a bench, the seat I have now is a vinyl bench and the spring is showing, not comfortable at all.
