I love sushi and was deployed to Okinawa for an 8 month period when the war first broke out. But, I'm from Guam and love all seafood. I also eat raw fish "sashimi"!!! Wohoo what I would do for some hawaiin poke and some fried palakse from home! :waytogo:

I was stationed in Okinawa from 2001- 03. I also been to Guam for a week. That place is small but it rocks! Strip clubs, beautiful women, and it seemed like the island was full of toyota trucks! But yea, sashimi is great!

I like sushi a lot, but I spend most of my money on cars and not on food.

well i'm a sushi fanatic as well, i love spicy tuna, Carolina roll, Hawaiian roll, crunchy snow crab roll. I even bought the stuff to make sushi at home, my first try had too much rice, but here is a pic of my second try. I made everything as correct as i could using the right methods and ingredients. Much cheaper to make at home but not as enjoyable. These rolls have blended crab/shrimp with cucumber, cream cheese and sesame seed on outside. The red is a little sriracha i sprinkled on the outside.

we had a place here called sushi fusion, when they opened they had all you can eat for $20 on weekends, and it was very good quality, not china buffet quality. Then the price dropped to $14, even better! then they closed :(

There is a Sakura out here. And Senju and Osaka, both also good. There is one called Ume by my house that is really good.

    Now I want sushi.

I haven't been to the one out in OG yet, but i typically eat at Sakura's, although my friends like Saki cafe. Sakura's has good steamed dumplin's too.
