Is it good or bad? to people give you the thumbs up or laugh when you drive by? I wanna know! i'll start things off, i love getting attention in my truck it really makes my day. just today i was driving home from work and i saw a car i couldnt recognize stopped at the redlight across from me, it looked like an old Alfa and Citroen combined, and even though i have no idea what it was i knew i had to give the guys mad props when they drove by. i went and rolled the window down and looked up and they where giving ME the thumbs up! damn they beat me to it! it definitely caught me by surprise so all i could do was give them a s**t eating grin and return the favor. then i was was sitting at a stop light 2 little kids riding in the bed of an old pickup waved at me when they drove by, i still have a smile on my face from all the positive feedback i got today. so post up your stories people!

Im from hickville so most people ask why the hell would you trash a perfectly good truck. The people who tell me that my truck is cool or sick are the ones who moved from some other state

I live on a very small island where a little change on you ride gets you a smile. I mean people know the owners of the ride and changes if theres any. My neighbor got a beat up looking toy, I mean with holes in his ride, but still got compliments for the nice choice of rims he got for the truck and his rims are far better than mine. I tried to buy it from him but he didn't want to sell them, it's a American Baja race rims. I bought my truck and wanted it to stand out from the rest so I had it painted two tone black and blue. Bought sound systems with Bose speakers and bass. People come up and converse about the truck on how much it cost me or nice ride. I was the only person on this island with a two tone extra cab truck. A week later someone did theres too. I get a few wow here and there but what makes me feel real good about my ride is that its mine. Its the first truck to my name too.lol. I came on this site to learn on the "How to" stuffs and been loggin in almost everyday because alot folks got different projects. I especially like Black Widow project. Sure wish I knew how to swap engines like some of you guys here. Im just another wannabe mechanic hoping to know more than I know now...

Well with my yota people would comment on all the "HI!"s I spray painted on the bed. Id get thumbs up or confused looks.

In the Nissan I get stares, people pulling up n blasting their music, or idiots hitting bags on me. I had an old dude checking it out at a rim shop commenting on the wheels and front end. Not to mention the occasional "FCK SHES HOTT!!" From my girlfriend and me. Haha

well, mine is not running yet! Still getting built but i am jealous you guys get to ride in yours. Although when people do stop by to see the truck, which is laid out right now, they ask how am i going to drive it, i explain the bag setup to them and they just give me this, i don't understand what you mean, look to me.

I get alot of compliments from co-workers everytime i come in and there is something new done to it. I get alot of people staring and pointing when they pass me on the freeway or im passing them. But the best part to me is when i get most my looks and stairs from rice burners and when they always pull up to me and want to race and give me the nod.

haha i get big ol trucks trying to race me at lights, so i always try to pull ahead and smoke them out which isnt an easy feat since they have about quadruple the amount of horsepower/torque

i will race just about any gas burner truck, unless its like a lightening or 5.7 tundra. Also learned my lesson about trying to race a turbo diesel f250, that bully dog gives it quite a bit of tq.

either people love how low it is or bitch about me not lifting it.

they certainly love how clean it looks
    or
they don't understand how much more expensive it is to go lift it versus dropping it with your own tools.
