I'll get the pics & info from my buddy, he just put a Taco dash in his 88 4 Runner, can't be much differenat than the 89 - 95s. I just swapped the 4 runner body onto a Taco chassis for him & he's swapping everything from the Taco into the 4 Runner.

The Taco frame after all the mods made to ti to get the 4 Runner body to fit.

Gettin ready to put the two to gether, and if your wondering the gas tank did not fit.

I was able to use all the body mounts off the 4 Runner chassis but the one at the radiator support, had to fab those up.

    All together.

    dash swap

Well I went to the local you pull-it this morning and i found a dash in a 4runner i think it was a 2001 model. I decided hey that might look good in my truck. so i stripped the old one out.

and put the new one in along with the console. I still have some things to work out though.

I still need to wire in the clock, the hazards, and the dimmer switch. as well as trim and modify for the parking brake.

It was not a straight forward swap lots of cutting and trimming. I also still have to extend the front of the dash to meet the firewall/windshield.

I kept my stock cluster and heater controls to avoid some headaches of trying to interface the cable stuff to electronic
