Hello all, my name is Dave. Just found out about this site this morning. I have a 1977 pro street hilux. I have an ad in the wanted section of craigslist looking for a 75-78 look alike so I can have a very cool everyday driver as well. Its not very cost efficient to drive mine daily any more. A guy messaged me this morning and told me about this site and seriously it is one of the coolest sites I've been on in a while. I've owned my 77 for over 20 years and about 8 years ago turned it into a pro street cruiser. Well one thing led to another and now its fully tubbed has ladder bar suspension and a 700+hp 406 cu. in. small block chevy with a turbo 350 transmission w/trans. brake. It currently runs 6.0's in the 1/8 at 117 mph. Now its finally to the point where its a little too radical to drive on the street with the price of racing fuel and all. Don’t get me wrong I still drive it to a local car show now and then but Id really like to find one that's a little more cost efficient so I could drive it daily. I live in St. Petersburg Fl. and you just don't find them here anymore.
