My front disc brakes are...sticking? My brake light started coming on recently, and I thought it was my parking brake, but got that checked, and its not the case. So I took off my front R wheel, and the brake pads are sticking to the disc. So its hard to rotate the brake. What would cause the front brakes to be on? I am pretty sure this is why my light keeps coming on, only when I go up hills or sharp corners. Thank you

Possibly corrosion on caliper piston wall, or brake lines. Have you ever done a brake fluid change when doing a brake job?

Do the brakes feel mushy when you drive it?

Do you have brake fluid in the reservoir?

Are the brake pads still good?

What happens when your driving the car and brake?
You might wanna try bleeding your brake fluid. Its probally a good place to start.

this sounds like what happened to me
if you recently lowered your truck it may be the rear load sensor causing the brake light to come on
I adjusted that arm and it has only come on once or twice but i cant wait to delete it

How worn are the pads? And how is the level of brake fluid in the reservoir?

Sounds to me like the fluid level could be low enough to kick on the light at certain angles, and that the cylinder in the caliper is seized or sticking.

Is it only the one corner that has sticky brakes?
