im in the process of converting my 85 22re to a 22r, and i was wondering if i could put a carb manifold on a fuel injected head without having to swap heads? cant really find any info about it, thanks for the help!

You need to put the 22r intake on, and have an electric fuel pump.

you dont need an electric fuel pump, you can use mechanical, thats how they come stock. All you need is the manifold and carb really.

wouldnt it run crappy after unplugging the ECU considering it has electronic sensors? i know the old 20Rs have valves that run off of vaccum lines, didnt the electronics take over those thang thangs?
