Is it just me or are we getting tons of new members ? Ive been getting a lot of private messages lately from people who havent posted yet... Just wanna say to every one who is new SPEAK UP! and most importantly post PICTURES!!!!
Yes, welcome all! Please, don't be shy! Feel free to ask away, brag, or whatever the case may be. We here at ToyotaMinis love pics, we are a bunch of pic junkies. Doesn't matter what you got or what condition its in, show it off! Also, to let all newbies know there is a search function in the top menu, sometimes you can find info on what you're looking for. Welcome again and enjoy your stay!
Welcome to all the newbies. But for sure use search for you ask bout same question over and over on same topics especially hids, lowering questions theres plenty of threads on these topics
Yah I'm digging the fact nobody uses the intro yourself thread heir. First post is usually a for sale thread or something is broken and after that they leave.
Its like that everywhere. People search for answers, find a forum and ask rather than takinga few minutes more to not be lazy and search deaper. Probably 95% of all issues have already been answered on the net if you want the answer bad enough you'll find it. On a local forum we run people treating the place like craigslist off in a hurry. Its more of a sport than anything. I came here because I am an enthusiest with some questions and a lot of answers so I can not only be helped but provide it as well.
Hey fella's, This site has been great, I bought a 1990 4x4 last month and you guys were instrumental in helping me with the seat conversion and some electrical gremlins. Here's some before and after photo's. When I bought the truck it was in primer green, I went back with the factory red. Found some light bars on craigslist for under $60 bucks and had Maaco shoot it last week. Found a wrecked 4runner and bought the seats then added covers and a generic center console from Pep boys that fit perfect......all in all it turned out pretty good and didn't cost a lot of money. Mally,
nice work...i started body work on my 84 when i first got it...had deer damage, rust, and a brush-and-roller paint job that defines ugly...had most of the sheetmetal somewhat straight and started some sanding (had to get rid of that nasty flat white paint)...didn't take long before my kid rolled it over into a ditch...straightened it out again and still driving it,but i kinda lost interest in the bodywork, for now
Hey fellas, yeh, it is great to see so many new members joining up! For those interested, I've been working on the site's search engine effectiveness (as best as can be done). Since the beginning of December, organic search engine traffic on the site is way up. Thanks for everyone for being part of the "welcoming crew" for the newbies.
Damn newbies... Most of the forums i have participated have the same issue. You get an influx of new excited people... then truck/car breaks... so they asks questions about fixing truck/car... but they can't fix there ride... so they sell it off and get the F*** out of dodge. Or they just want to sell there parts and as mentioned earlier they get chased off. At least you get a few people that stick around.
