hi everyone, i have an 82 diesel that i purchased a couple months ago and im so glad that i found this website! ive been looking for as much info as i can on these old yotas and could never find anything, but since i found this site a couple days ago ive already learned so much! i cant wait to start restoring my truck it really is my pride and joy and its so good to find so many people who love these trucks as much as i do!

Welcome. I just saw a 82-83 deisel like 2 weeks ago waiting at a light next to me. Super rare here anyways. Thing rattled like no other, but I wouldnt mind one Pics are a def must. 82's kick @ss, sure glad to see another one
thanks for the welcome everyone, it sure isnt the prettiest one around but i love it anyway so heres some pics! and seeing as i bought it in pennsylvania it definitely has major rust issues, so far i rebuilt the inner rockers, all the cab mounts (the cab wasnt even attached to the frame it was so bad) and rebuilt almost the entire floor
Hi everyone new here. Just got this 74 hilux out of a pasture where it set for over 5 years. Wanted something I could fix up and be proud of how much it came along. I have it running now but runs really rough. I am having trouble finding parts. Need a breather and a vacuum diagram. I've been on just about every web site there is and was told this was the best one for getting info and ideas. Hope someone can help.
ooooo a diesel! Thats something you don't see hardly ever! You should convert it to run on french fry oil! or at least give us a few pics!
