Ok, I finally bought COD MW2 to try it out about a month ago (which I suck, but it's fun to play). I have the 120 gig PS3 and I can't get online to play. I can go online with all my other games but that one. I read somewhere that is an issue with the 120 gig ps3's, anyone else have this issue? Starting to get a little frustrated!
On the PS3 they shut down the MW2 servers. I guess there was some sick hacks going around so they shut down the servers until they can get it patched. I played MW2 at a semi pro level on the x box for awhile. I would sell the PS3 and get an x box. The support is much much better and a lot better security.
Yeah, but I'm not gonna get sell my ps3 or get an xbox for one game that I just play for the fun of it. I'm not nearly that into it as alot of people, I can live without it.
Yeah probably true, if you ever get at all into any gaming xbox is the way to go. They have rights to first releases but yes some douche hacked the PS3 and ruined it for everyone. I hate some people. They did mention that it should be up in a few days though.
LOL yah I had 4 hacks on my MW2 game but its was for 360. Cheap as hell but I like razzing the little kids. I had wall hack, unlimited ammo, no reload and auto aim. Rolled around alot with the no reload didnt use the others too much cause yah xbox cracked down too. A lot of people were kicked off live never to be able to return. Atleast Sony did it right by shutting the server down period.
Yeah i have never even tried to run a hack. I did make a modded controller but only used it against my friends i never used it on Live. I like the legit killing. I get called a cheater a lot anyways.

playstation FTW!! i've played mw2 on my ps3 with hdmi, then went to my bro's and played on xbox with the hd cables and ps3 owns! lol i bought black ops a while back but didn't play much cuz i think mw2 is all around better. but i've been playin black ops a bit more, just have a lot of connectivity issues with it. it's the only game that has frozen my console while loading a map.. psn tag is the same as my username here. i generally only play the hardcore modes. and the recent hackers on mw2 really suck. my wife is ranked higher then me cuz a hacker unlocked all her challenges. the other night a guy on the opposite team was invisible. but after getting me a few times i sprayed and prayed and got em..
did the update as well. seems to have taken care of most of the hacking that was going on with mw2.. except one group i got stuck with twice that has reddotcity.com across the top. i just quit and joined another.. also did a update for black ops did you try mw2 dave? i seen you were playing gt5
Tried it, still no luck. Gonna have to get a cable long enough to reach and try again. Btw, mine is same as my screen name
