    Hello all,

This is kind of a rant so i apologize ahead of time.
I recently purchased my 84 base model and have spend the last few months
getting the car back up to par. Spent a few hundred dollars on random parts and was amazed at how each part made the vehicle run so much smoother.

I even sold my 97 camry a few weeks ago since i had fallen in love with this lil toyo so much.

Unfortunately, today while out running some errands my brakes decided to fail as i was approaching a red light. I forced my little 4 speed down into first but it still just wasn't enough.

    BAM!!

slammed right into the back of a car. After pulling over and popping the hood my worst fears were realized. Besides the smashed radiator and fan, bent good, broken grill, and busted out headlights. Two of the accessory belts split. And last but definitely not least. the front part of my frame split completely in half.

I feel like crying lol, i was really started to love this truck and enjoyed the hell working on it.

But i guess life goes on.....

Once again sorry for the rant. Just need to vent.

I appreciate it, but the frame damage is my main concern. My plan for this truck was to drive it forever, and i have seen many cars that have had frame repairs and well, they did not last forever, not even close.

My mechanic skills max out with changing out head gaskets, suspension components, and general maintenance. So this truck is now well beyond my capabilities and cash flow at this point.

On another note, besides the frame and everything in front of the motor, it is in decent shape.

If anyone is interested in any parts let me know. = )

I'm sorry for your Loss, and your Loss makes some of us sit back and Thank God for our friends that support us and have the knowledge to help us look at your situation and see the bright side.. Build it now...But like you said your just not able by yourself.

Sorry to hear Dude we feel for ya.

With My Truck if anything like that happened to me My Truck would be a total Loss, Not because I can't rebuild the frame but because Parts for my truck are Hard to find.
