I know this probably been asked and answered a million times already but here it is. I been looking to put another gauge cluster in my 93 dx to get one with a tach. Who knows what other models nd years would be compatible and equipped with a tach that would be plug and play for my ride? Dont know if mine is cable or electronic speed sensor either. I know all my others were cable mechanical, but they were 87 and down models.

With your being a 93 should be electric. Easy way to check is look a the trans and see if there is a cable or a plug. Also you can't really hook it till you get the correct oil pressure sensor, if not you will blow the gauge. Some say you can use the v6 cluster but you have to adjust the tach signal to read correct. Best if you get one from a 22re. If you search on yotatech.com there are plenty of write up and usefull info.

you can hook it up just unplug the oil pressure sensor until you get the right one otherwise you will blow it like roach said..check my build thread i relocated the adjustment knob(pot) so i could adjust the tach without having to take the cluster out, makes it much easier to adjust..
