    H6054 Conversion Halogen Lamp (Pair)

you would be better off buying the autopals from ebay..those 4656 are sealed beam, i dont see the h6054 but they are also sealed beam

here are the autopals, many people love the output on these, very similar to Hellas

and if you want output from your HID bulbs vs color 4300-5000k is the best

if you want to do it right and get the most from your HIDs do a retro like i just did, there is no comparison if you've had both which i have

but you can buy just about any H4 kit you want and throw it in your headlights, but your lamps must be able to take a H4 bulb, so in other words if you have to replace the whole headlight when one goes out you need to buy some H4 conversion lamps, that allow you to change the bulb instead of the whole lamp. Like the ones i posted above

if you want to try and tackle a retrofit let me know and i'll be glad to help you out..i still have to get some night shots so you can see the output of these things:waytogo:

Joey I am in. I need an idea of what I would need as a kit. I saw some of your write up on it and I think I got enough from it to do the retro I just need to know what I need to buy.

there is no bulb currently on the market that is worth buying yet. OEM manufacturers are barely coming out with LED headlights, wait a couple years and i'm sure the aftermarket will catch up..stick with HID or a good halogen bulb for now

So there is a catch 22 to do this conversion for my truck. I have the 4runner head lights and replacement basic headlights are more expensive then doing the HID conversion for a Toyota pickup.

is there a bulb on the 4runner lights or do you have to replace the whole thing if it goes out?

No the head lights are bulbs. I just know that the lights are much bigger then the basic pickup front end
