Hey Guys I just picked up another Project, and I been hearing allot about how folks cut the from clip off ???? and mated it to their Frames for easier transition and steering, and more parts available.. So here is my question If you could choose a front end any front suspension setup which one would you choose?.. Thanks Guys Oh it's a 96 Extra cab Ranger
88-94 yota front clip....ive seen a bunch of people do that. makes everything easier, plus no crazy camber when you lay it out.
and if i had the monies i would put cando arms on the 88-94 clip just to clean it up and help with the slight camber issues that the stock front end has. Its pretty good on its own but those arms help out and look good doing it
Rather than trying to line another make's frame up to yours, why don't you find a 98 or later front clip and save yourself the hassle of all the other complications not mentioned? The toyota front clip would not at all be an "easy" swap.
I agree wit litneon but id figure the yota clip is easier to come by.i got one sittin in my backyard haha
Yeah so This I thought would be the easy way.... My Fabricator suspension Friend Laughed me out of my seat. He said I can buy Dropped I beams for the same Money as trying to buy a front clip with all the working parts.... So I guess that is Why I ask these questions, so as to form the correct Opinion and get pointed in the right direction.... This one is going to be a Slow Build.... The Wife wants to drive it for a while before the Weekend Modifications Start..
