89 4runner..22re auto. 155,xxx miles. needs rear brakes and master cyl. asking $1,000 or bo.

it actually is, the door says like 9/88 thou..So technically, its an 89 model.

 

might want to use pics showing it clean and not being abused...

 

its not being abused in that pic... nothing wrong with some wheelin... good luck on the sale buddy. my 89 pickup is a late 88 but it got the new body style... yours is the other way around tho... good luck

when toyota changed body styles in 89 the only changed the truck...the 4-runner stayed the same body style as the 84-88 model trucks for one more year!

 

why not show it what it was used for? its only gonna happen when(IF) someone comes and looks at it, and opens the hood..lol

 

does not matter what the date on the door says..
10th digit of the vin will tell you the year.

 

it was just a suggestion.....alot of people don't use their 4runners like that (I do but you would never know by looking at it) and don't want to buy one that's been wheeled because it is hard on them compared to street driving. I looked for quite awhile till I found mine which had rarely if ever been off highway before I got it.

 

true... but also consider this, you are looking into buying a 20 year old vehicle...with multiple owners. you cant expect it hasnt been abused...

 

my truck was never abused..It was USED, but not abused.

 

my runner was not abused either

bro, I would consider buying this if that nissan im looking at turns about to be a pile of crap. how is the rust on it ? the paint looks nice, howd you do it ? interior shots ? any more pics of it clean ?
