so tonight i came to find that Marty (guy who bought my truck) had been in an accident with the lux.......... here' what i found. Marty (mike 07xr's brother) came out ok and unscathed, but the lux is a different story. damage is fairly extensive but repairable. hood, fender, headlight, grill, bumper, valance, core support, dr. side fender well, radiator, possibly the fans too........ tough to its name i bent back the core and the truck started right up! from what i heard, he came around a corner, the back end got away from him, avoided a wall but rearended a 300Z........
shoulda hit the wall, would been cheaper... that sux bro...offer to buy it off him for 50 bucks the rain was pretty gnarly tonight, where did he crash at?
he is gonna fix it.............. ill be helpin him out of course. my baby is in pain so i gotta come to the rescue of course........ sucked seein it smashed up but its a fairly easy fix. just gotta spend some time on it. rain was minimal but enough to be slick out there........ he is still fairly fresh to the truck, and this was his first night out in the rain with it. he came out of a turn gave it a tiny bit too much gas and whipped it around back and forth a few times and planted it on the back end of a 300Z..... he said he was off of paradise valley rd and 8th street in national city.......... not even 2 miles away from his house.
Damn so close to home! Ya its been a long time since we had rain streets were pretty slick, wish I could help but I don't have any body parts. Gimme a pm if ya need stuff like a rad and whatnot, I can et stuff like that for the cheapz
dang that sucks to see.. guess a hopped up 22r, a lincoln locker and rain spell disaster. can't wait to see the rebuild!
Glad to see its fixable brah. He runnin on bald tires or something? I was crusin in 3in of snow this morning no problem. Maybe im just used to it.
DAMN that sucks to see, but it happens more then often you put sweat and, tears in it and sell it and whoever buys it wrecks it with in a MONTH
not very quick at all........... combination of "legally" bald tires, wet conditions, inexperience, and lack of manageable skills ruined it for him. just came around too quick for him to react........ with that truck.... if you dont react instinctively it will take you for a ride in less than a heartbeat.
kinda like my kid did in my '84...he came into the turn too fast...wet road...ass-end came around and he flipped into the ditch, landing on the roof...i drove it home from the shop they towed it to
