IF I only hada dream come true . . .

My dream ride would be a Toyota Supra with twin turbos, got so many pictures of them stored its crazy, my dream truck would be this one listed on Ebay, Ive looked and drooled over this truck since it was listed, but, if I can have it, I would have a Late model Tacoma, 2wd or 4wd it dont matter, sport options a must and I would try my damndest to keep it mostly stock.

AHH . . . You get the picture, have to admit thou' I am toyota fan thru and thru, its hard to find another automaker that gives me such admiration in my veins . . .

My 'garage' queen that I work on and drive sparingly is a 1986 Mercedes 2.3-16V - they made around 2,000 of them in 86 & 87 only.

And here is the beast - I've been waiting to get it all fixed up before sharing but what the hell. I wanted a little toyota truck for a long time so last year I start looking with 1,800 in my hand. Well I couldn't beleive it, here in California these things hold some value, I was finding 7 owner 250K mile trucks beat to death and people still wanted 2,500 for them. Anyway this little blue truck was a one owner, 120K mile truck that had been treated real nice - until a drunk driver started to bounce off the side of cars down the street where the guy lived. Anyways a friend of mine at a body shop owed me some work so I bought it. As of Friday the bed was in the paint booth along with a new door and fender, now I gotta get the cab fixed. I also bought the Starion wheels and Bell-Tech spindles/blocks and shocks from blazinrola - can't wait to get that set-up on the truck.

Thanks again for all the help so far, I'm a member at several Mercedes and Rover sites and I'll tell, you guys are a real group of men, eager to assist each other with issues and problems with their vehicles and that's how it shold be. Too many of these sited are filled with jerk-offs but this site is real nice - keep it up fellas!
