    Dang it. You caught me.

That is actually an eight minute long exposure taken at the beach just to the east of Patrick Air Force Base, just down the road from me. It's crazy how "softened" it looks and you can see the star trails in the upper right.

Man, a lot of people here and on VWvortex have told to do that. Honestly, I had the black version of the same tails before I got these and I like these way better. It balances out the chrome bumper up front.
I probably won't change them any time soon.

Yes, thank you (insert politician of your choice here.)
I hope things get better for you, I was laid off for 5 months last year. It hurts.:(

My wife and I built our house about 5 years ago. I'd say it's full of mediocrity for our area. Nothing special, but not trashy.

Outta state vehicles have to be inspected before they can get registered. And smogged. Tht truck has an aftermarket intake which I doubt it CARB legal

 I have tires, just haven't put 'em on. Don't have the $60 to get them mounted, balanced and thrown on the truck.

They have done that for years now, starting in the mid to late 80's... I used to have a '66 Mustang and they made me smog THAT. (!!!!) I would have to runi t with a stock air cleaner, stock 2v carb, retard the timing to 0, and add a heat riser... thing ran like crap but it passed. Just for the hell of it one time I asked the guy who did the smog if he'd re-run if after I put the stuff I normally ran on it back on, he said sure. So the next day I ran down there with my Edelbrock 1406, K&N Air Cleaner, and the timing set at 8ยบ BTDC. Ran almost 3 times cleaner. Go figger. :rolleyes2:

This was an engine with a Torker intake (single plane), Tri-Y's, majorly reworked 289 hi-po heads, 2.5" exhaust, and ran 13's with a C-4 and 2:73 one legger out back. They say that Hot Rods and old cars are just polluters... not even close. Some of us just take care of our cars, and the more efficient they run the more power they make.

I'm not a fan of California smog laws, thankfully I live in WA where they have the 20 year rule. I wouldn't even be able to have my '80 SR5 in CA.
