What's your PSN? for some reason I don't think it went through. I'll check tonight since I'm gunna jump on the PS3 since i'm dead bored. Spent hours at the drag strip with my friend's (didnt run truck)

I'll be honest, it's a fun game. and the weapons are generally modern. AK74, StonerM63, and the Commando (M4/AR15Carbine or whatever you want to name it... its a badass gun btw, it hits hard in multiplayer)... its not as modern as MW2, but its plenty. Really fun. I played it for the first time last night and stayed up until 4AM. btw, the killstreak Chopper Gunner is fun

Anyway back on topic...



GT5 has the date set on November 24th, i put $5 down already at Gamestop. Apparently the pre-orders of GT5 also have more cars, neat. Didn't expect that, but alright!

You're drunk!!! J/K bud. It's actually pretty darn good Bernie. I'm still a huge fan of MW2 but this one has some new features that are real cool like a crossbow with a semtex attached to it. Or a rc car that you drive right up to the enemy and blow them up. It's pretty cool!

i might be getting it soon, but it was sold out at the local wal-mart. my wife signed up to psn and tryed online. now i regret having her do it cuz she played today for 9 hours... lol

last game she really played much was offroad fury 2 back on ps2

 

9 hours?!?!?! Holy hell she's just as bad as me. I've been known to waste a whole day on a weekend playing either MW2 or now Black Ops. Guess it's time you buy another PS3 huh? Actually in Black Ops you can both play online through the same account playing split screen. Another great option, even though I hate split screen.

 

yep.. i handed the paddle over at 4 am, went to bed at 6. she woke me up at 1pm and said she was still playing.. lol

i told her about the split screen and now she wants me to go get it now. lol

also last night we got in a match with a bot. it was nuts! we could run like 100mph, and could jump about a 1/4 mile in the air. she gave me the paddle, i landed and knifed a guy and got 200,000 points. she went from lever 16 to 27 with that one kill before the connection was interrupted lol.

alright.. bought and started playing c.o.d. black ops. not really impressed at all. the sound and picture quality (i'm playing on a 46" samsung with hdmi cable) doesn't compare to mw2 in my opinion. the only part i like is the split screen online play.

 

I like the picture, but ya, the sound is gay. Most people have been saying the same thing, that the sound seems muffled. I don't mind it too much. Besides I know they will fix it.
