We GPS clocked the speedo diecrepency.

    55MPH speedo was 72 actual.
75MHH speedo was just over 100. :runaway:

That w58 is cool, but it needs to be matched with the right rear gear. 2200 RPM 70 is boggin the motor in 5th.

Soo today started awesome, I got behind a silver starion on the interstate, and had alot of fun running with him thru traffic. They obviously didnt know what a 22R was when they (2 guys) asked "what motor". I kept up with it the whole way...:D

Then driving home from the movies, the coolant bypass plate blew the gasket out. Literally. Had to flat tow it 5 miles and It got a new intake mani gasket, a power valve, carb cleaned and adjusted, timing and valve lash set.

Now it idles with a slight lope, at 550-600 RPM.

The acceleration pump is outa wack. a hard pedal romp at low rpms will bogg it, but it will sing if its gradual.

And the power valve that was in it was for 10in manifold vaccum.
The power valve I bought and installed is for 13in.
The engine actually sweeps 10-15 pulsing very very quickly. Should be good for it.

The float adjustment was WAY too low. Thats what made it die on hard stops way back when...

Looks like you are finding the little kinks. I think when you put on the sidedrafts, header and I would say a 4.30 gearing the truck will be much happier! Raff did you ever think about dynoing it? Just to see how much you're getting out of the little 4 banger hybrid! Can't wait till you install the sides, header and gearing. I know that will make a big difference!

TRD-About a week and a half tops. I was going to fly, but that would be to denver, and Id have 250 miles to go.

Dger-I lived in CO for 5 years. I lived in SoCal before that. Just going to see the family, maybe hit the junkyards because there are tons of yotas up there.

From a week ago my blown coolant gasket.

From a few days ago my new battery and cable. Its a primitive hold down, but it works

And My LC wire loom. I need the proper wires when I put this motor back in the Celica.

    Yea, my feelings are hurt.

I didnt care soo much when I got hit. But after a while, I realized she smashed my good fender. And broke my impossible to find in mint condition side light.

    Damn.

Talked to my insurance company. Ill see tomorrow what their gunna do.

She just made a left turn into my lane, then jumped right to get the next street. After she/I struck, and talking... She asked me in a tone, "what are you (referring to me) going to do to fix this (her car)".

I just kept quiet till the cop got there.

No insurance, no licence, she said I was speeding.

Cop told me I would get a supeona. I asked is that good or bad. He said she was at fault and thats a court sommons for me. Whatever.

Never had a situation like this. Any tips people. My ins. company will call tomorrow, and try to sort things out then.

    :doah:

    Sucks for me.

    Absoutly blows for her.

You are in a good position if the cops deemed her at fault. Just don't get stupid in court and it should be a breeze. Just tell it like it is.

What level of insurance do you have. We only have Liability b/c all our cars are paid and over 12 yrs old. Bad part of that is ins co wont pay me for my damage. So I'm rebuilding my front end at my cost. But other cars were taken care off
