I think would be easier for just buy oem fenders and piece it together rather then having to fab up some fenders and have to get the shape right and make sure they symmetrical and stuff. Thats just me though. Would be mean to have custom fenders like that though.
just so you guys know, no one in the US makes stock dually fenders. The only company that i found that makes a set the looks good for our trucks is in Japan, last i check, one fender cost $1500 bucks.. i still have a 1 ton dually axle sitting around waiting to get rebuilt and put on custom truck i want to build...but i dont know when that will happen..
Set up a work desk. Bring table in. Bring tools in. Grab 12pk of beer. Get to work. On the axle, not the beer! lol dually hilux's never had bedsides.. they had boxes from U haul or something like the RV's.
nope, they are after market. the only true toyota dually i know of with a stock bed is the old 80's(?) one. its the green truck everyone keeps posting, the year is slipping my mind atm.. I would get to work on the axle but, i dont have the funds, nor the space atm right now, i want to get a running 84-88 toyota dually and go from there.. my end goal is alot more than just lowered, i want it laying frame (bagged), fully functional 4 door, with a deisel motor. the only real problem im having (besides money) is getting my hands on a 4 door from overseas. i just want the cab.. then i will drop that on the frame and make everything else/ swap it from the orginal cab..
there is a 82-83 single cab dually in my neighborhood with a stock bed and fiberglass fenders. and a 84-88 ex. cab dually in the next town over with a stock bed and fiberglass fenders. i'm watching a 75-78 r.v. lux down the street... but i'd keep the r.v. portion.
those are stock bed sides and they have the mooneye dually fender on then, and the mooneye fenders are $1500, these are themi like this one this one the made the fenders on it and there is a comp. in cail. that makes dually fender for the truck and there $600. i have the pic of them at my shop. i will scan it and put it on here later.
i wish i could just by a 4 door dually from japan..i would pay to get it dot approved..but thats going to have to be on my wish list for now..
that cus you got baja fenders, the one on my f 150 were 900 the baje fender for my old yota were 600. i will put pic of them to
