I also like the idea of having a "local" and "personal" feel to the website, taco's and tundra's have there thing so let's have ours. I mean me personally I dont care about having some back woods hick talking smack about our lowered mini's compared to his jacked up tundra. (no offense to any country people on here)

Toyota Minis is not restricted to 2wd's only, and that's what I loved about it. It's just hilux's in general, and the 4runners are hilux surfs.

In other words, I want it to be open to both 2wd and 4wd Toyota Hilux's, and we can keep it from Stout to 95. I think a seperate section of the forum can be placed for "etc" vehicles, like "other vehicles" you own.

 

I agree with that, we have always been a "old school" yota forum anyways.

I'm part of my local forum and we're on GoDaddy I believe. I'm going to ask our admin if there's any better suggestions since he's into this forum stuff.

I think naming could be given some time, more ideas would be nice

these are all good ideas.. we need to start some polls in the near future... and for the mod thing, we need a list of people who are interested in being a mod, then have a poll to vote for the mods.. but the rule is no body can say who we voted for , why we voted, or if we voted. to keep everything fair and no negative stuff or hurt feelings.

I can throw in 50.00 towards start-up. I believe it should be "by donation" because not everyone can fork up alot up front. All in all we are looking at about 130.00 for the first year and that's without vbulletin. The latest version of VB is 145.00.

Im not sure how much I can donate right now, I have just about zero cash and coming up on paying a speeding ticket lol.. but the poll for mods can only have 10 people MAX so we need to narrow it down to 10 before we start that.... guys just remember this cant happen over night, if it does were going to fail bad... we have to do some good planning.. not just oh hai guyz we wants new forums.. ok... NO...fail.

anyways...I think we should maybe nominate people for mods, and if that person doesnt want to thet can opt out...
