Ok so I have some questions about my side draft manifold. I bought it from LCE, its a Cannon, on the manifold just beside the thermostat are 2 threaded holes. Now I would assume that they are for the temperature sensors but one of them is HUGE so is there some other sensor I need?

While im here what do we do about the passage between the runners of the intake (carb choke?) seeing as the manifold is solid between the sides.

Any referance pictures would be greatly appreciated!

The water port between the intake center runners on the head is blocked off by the Cannon intake, no longer needed as it was just a water port and a VSS sender, part of the smog stuff. The 2 holes in the new intake are for the temperature sender and a water outlet for a heater hose if the timing cover doesn't have one coming out the rear, if it does then the one on the intake can be plugged, or if you have an aftermarket mechanical temp gauge, that would be a good spot to connect to.

 

don't for get to plug were the EGR valve is with a block of plate.on the intake you can just get a bolt from your local hard wear store or with sum spare bolts you got laying around.if your intake has vacuum out let's underneath those run up to the breather on top of you valve cove,or you can just cap them of with sum bolt's."here are sum pix,hope thay would help out".
