    Slayer = YES
    Slipnot = Meh.

    Never got into them for some reason. Now SLAYER, been a fan since I was 13, and as of today I've been in two Slayer tribute bands. Did one 3 years ago called War Ensemble, and now doing another one with the same name... long story.

    anyone into bands like Carcass, Napalm Death, Hate Eternal, Brutal Truth, or Morbid Angel? I've been on a Grind / Death Grind kick lately.....

    You put your hand up on my hip. Man good stuff. You know what makes the tight pants worse is when they sag them below there a**. Come on now. I prefer belbottoms from my dads era over this new crap. They all just need to stop shoping at baby gap. PROJECTS right, cause i still remember my dad telling me what the heck is that crap your listening to and then he would blast his stuff and say now this is music. I like some of the new stuff but some of it just has to go. But to each there own.

    Indeed, a metal fan here as well. Well, music fan is more like it. I've been playing music on one instrument or another ever since I can remember.

    I really enjoy metal because of the technical aspects and techniques involved in being able to accurately and consistently play it, on ANY instrument. Some of those guy's chops are incredible!

    I also really enjoy classical, but this is because of the artistic choices in note relationships, phrasing, and arrangement of so many instruments and voices available.

    Then there's Jazz. It's nice to just explore your own psyche every now and again, just to see where THE MUSIC wants to go.

    I've never really been a fan of country, it's musically very boring to me. Same goes for MOST rap, but there are some artists that get my attention.

    BTW, next time you guys play Dead Skin Mask, say "This goes out to Chris, in Ky!" Nobody will know what the hell your talking about, but you'll know.....I LOVE that song!

    Im a drifter by nature so anything hard and fast. I got a few friends who are DJ's so a ton of mixed stuff like lil john mixed with kernkraft 4000 anything Dubking, white satin, real heavy fast punk. Just to chill out a little 311 mostly hip hop though funny cause I dont like gansta rap talking about drugs and hoes and killing people but I love the beats and riffs.

    If you are looking for some good beats and rhymes without all the drugs and hoes crap, look at Jurassic Five. They have some very nice beats!

    just a handful of "rappers" if you must, that actually doesn't sound like garbage (i.e. Lil' Wayne, Pit Bull, just to name a few that sound like ****)
