So I have my truck running and all now, thought I'd throw this out there. it probably won't snow for another 2 months at least, so why not throw together a quick meet? I'm thinking early October? Dunno. The weather in the NW is pretty unpredictable, but since there's a few local people maybe just a small meet?

Who's in? We can adjust the time / day because of weather as it gets closer, we all know how reliable the weather forecasts are around here... like when it was snowing last year and they said 40ยบ and drizzle.....

There's a W58 on CL for $175 right now, look for Supra on the Portland CL. W50-56 have a .85-.853 5th that doesn't make a ton of difference. The W58 has a .783 5th. It's a little longer so you'd have to get your driveshaft shortened, and slide the mount back a couple inches, but it's way stronger than the W56 and has better gearing.

I've thought about that swap... but I'm out of money and the brakes have been put on any new parts. Somebody had to stop me! LOL!!!

We're all PDX area guys (and some south of there), that's a bit of a drive from Fall City... but if you're down and we can get it together you're definately welcome, as are all the Seattle guys, along with nvrenfedge, and anyone else who wants to come out.

I thought a W56 would be a direct swap for those trucks, just grab the crossmember....

Hurry up man before things get nasty outside (it is the NW, so it can get nice right after it gets nasty... LOL)
