Just woke up gonna pull the head of my 94's engine and the oil pan and see what kinda damage i gotta deal with. Nothin like spending 2k on a truck and puting another 1k into it a week later to get it to run. Im REALLY hoping the cylinder walls are not scared and I dont have to machine them or the deck cause thats gonna cost me a few bucks over the whole rebuild kit. Have any of you rebuilt an engine to sucess without remachine any of the block??? I will re-turn the crank but Im trying to keep away from sleeves and deck if possible guess Ill find out in bout an hour
I doubt you will have any problems if anything go buy a hone kit from advance for 20 bucks and hone your cylinder walls
Went to a car show and won best lowrider. You know you might have went to the wrong show with a totally differnt crowd if you win this. Hahahah
yeah it seems some generations of people have never heard of minitruckin or anything of that nature... might be because its southern ms..... yeee haaw
My friend introduced me to a friend with a car audio store hes closed down and clearing out the last of his product for CHEAPPP paid 65 bucks for 140 feet of 0 gauge stinger wire 35 bucks for terminals and distribution blocks....10 bucks for a roll of 10 gauge... thinking about going back tomorrow and buying the rest of his garage and selling it all online... heres a few pics of what I bought and what im putting in my truck... redoing my entire wiring harness tomorrow at I sign up for college let me know if your interested in any of the pics I listed. the first on retails 30 I think the second pic retails 60 to 80 each in the pic and third is also 30 I believe...
went to my garage and kicked some tires, marveled at how clean it was... then decieded my day was better spent e-mailing the header shop and drinking beer. can anyone say mandrel bent stainless ceramic coated....

Tore the dash apart again, redid a bunch of wiring, cleaned up a bunch of stuff. Pulled the dash bezel to cut for the radio and clock. Mocked up one of the seats.
Got some FREE seats for my truck from a customer of mine who works at a junk yard Made a custom short ram intake for my 91 Decided to post pics of the 94 I bought a few weeks ago that Im replacing the engine in that I talk so much about cause all you guys are pic whores As you can see the front end conversion needs a bit more lining up and such but its coming along nicely now If I can get the engine back in it I'll be a happy camper
about to go change the valve seals without removing the head. if all goes well ill post a detailed article in the how-to section. ive got a pretty good idea up my sleeve trying to get around taking the head off.
loosen the two front bolts of the 4 on the bumper brackets, pull down teh front bumper a tiny bit, retorque bolts. that way it'll be aligned. lol short ram huh? flip it
