Hello everyone, Names Branden Im 18 andfrom Phoenix, Arizona born and raised. About 4 months ago I picked up my first toyota. Its been addiction since day one. The truck I fell in love with. :] However the engine was toast water in the block oil down the muffler so had to take it out to rebuild. After the rebuild :] painted the skidplate to match the block. took off the ugly rear bumper. now its in a working condition. I got 3inch drop blocks on the rear, waiting for the engine to be running smooth before i drop the front with the spindles i have. its back up and running but run reals rough took the carb apart for the 2nd time its soaking right now and im pretty sure the alternator is fried. as well
Welcome to TM. Nice job on the motor. So whats the plans for this thing? Is that the color you plan on painting the truck?
yeah the thats the color of the truck well eventually. Im still in the process of learning but i wanna do either a 7m or 1jz swap on it. give it more power truck will eventually be Gunmetal Gray (primary) Mariner blue (accent) colors. Soon to be my daily driver once its up in running will probably do a bit of work to the 22r as im learning about the supra engines. but in the long run thats what i wanna do. I wanna get some top notch suspension for it right now its kinda just all working towards the supra swap. Not looking for anything real extreme still want it to be my daily driver. Basically a surprise truck haha something to blow all the little civic tuners out of the water
