so I checked today .. I have only 1 (the other is 22r)
it is complete with valves and such .. I also have the rocker support , and up to the valve cover .. not sure about the cam though .. the head is in the back corner behing my winter tires .. so I couldnt squeeze in there to check ..

I know the head is good .. so I would think it has to be worth $80.00 bucks for all mentioned

I have a "deal" with DHL comming "down the pipe" .. so I should be able to get some very good shipping rates as well ..

let me know if your interested .

So a 20r head can go on a 22r engine? If so what does this do for the truck if it is swapped? What all do you need to swap it over? Thanks guys

complete head, minus one cam bolt. its been sitting for about 20 yers in the shop so you would need a valve job and a hot tank...other then that read to rock. No manifolds just a bare head, valves, springs, valve cover ect ect

    In a nutshell...

Need a 82-early 84 22R shortblock. (the domed piston dual chain 22R). Later engines "could" work, but I wouldnt reccomend it.
    A 22R headgasket.
    A 20R intake and gasket.
Stock exhaust works on both heads.

Advantages... If you relate it to IDK, chevy heads.
The 22R head is the 145 hp 82 Camaro smogger head
The 20R head is the 300hp 69 Camaro angle plug fuelie head.

Not quite that much HP from bolting it on. Somewhere between 30-35 HP is avarage for alot of people.

I likes the 20R because of how thick the castings are in the ports. ALOT can be taken out of them.

I got one chelu but, it needs to be rebuilt... #4 spark plug hole is stripped also a couple of the exhaust studs too. Valvetrain intact, no rockers (threw it away, steel kind). I also have a stock 20R intake if needed...

Price: $50 + shipping... I'm guessing around $50 for priority mail to Guam...
