Just throwing this out there, wondering if we could do something in the Portland / Vancouver area for August, maybe right under the Interstate bridge on the Washington side, or in Jantzen Beach. Figured this would be good for some of the NorCal / Southern Oregon guys who can't drive all the way up to Seattle for the meet, and wouldn't be too far for the Seattle guys. I read on the board here there was one set up for June but never got set up? No idea.

Anyway just a thought, I see meets all the time in the area and thought it would be a good spot. We could invite some of the Datsun / Mazda / etc guys too.

i second this! i would be totally down. i like both locations, but think jantzen beach would be the best of the two IMO. more room, and we wouldnt be annoying the folks at joes crab shack.

im just out here in washougal, so this would be cake. unfortunately i cant make the Seattle meet this time, due to lack of fundage.

So do we want to set a date for this? I have a show on the 13th and the 21st so those weekends are out for me. How about Sunday the 29th? In the parking lot near Stanfords (across the road from McD's and Denny's)? There's always lots of room there.

 

I would like to go but its a 16 to 17 hour drive for me, But would be nice to go see my brother in laws up there. Havent been up there in two years.

 

i'll go if we can get at least 10 trucks. i dont wanna drive up to check out a couple toys. i wanna see a whole heard

Last weekend of August works for me, I have shows every other weekend. Are we still talking Jantzen Beach? Early afternoon? Say, the parking lot across the street from McDonalds / BJ's?

Sunday August 29th 2010 @ 1pm at the parking lot at Jantzen Beach here's a map.
Green arrow's where I'm thinking, there's shade and no one usually parks there, just about ever.

We can hang out, BS about trucks and maybe grab some food. let's get this together so we can all plan on it.
