nooo, just lift the hood and look for the bolts on the side that hold the fender on, then look under it and find the rest

some bolts didnt line up, but im not a perfectionist and they have been holding on just fine for 4 months now.... you dont have to swap anything but the fenders. theres no brakets as far as i know. I just took the old ones of and put the new ones on easy as that. where are you located ? maybe someone on here is close to u and can help ?

my passenger side is kind of like that, are you sure you got every possible bolt it ? try taking it off, put it back on and just put 2 bolts on the top (under the hood) keep them loose. put it where you want it, then tighten the ones where the door is... see if that works ? and theres a few guys on here over there im pretty sure... open another thread and title is "anyone in ...." ?

Make sure you also use all the spacers as well! If you dont, it will bulge like that. There is a 4mm spacer that is supposed to go on the bottom of the rocker side of the fender.

if you take th fenders off with out paying attention, the spacer falls out, it may be closer to 3mm.

Ive seen the spacers, my 87' 2wd has them on the 2wd fenders, totally unsure if its stock, but, they are different on both sides. Ima thinking so spacage was needed at one time. All I know for sure is that not all fenders line up perfect and most any bodyman can tell you that having spacers around makes things alot ( how do you say it ? ) Less stressfull!
