Well I scored tonight on craigslist. I found a pimply faced highschool kid who sold me a chrome bumper with brackets and all hardware and a Leer Tanaoue cover with all shocks and hardware for 100.00

 

Dang that a good buy. Wish i could find that around here.

LOL! I already took all his parts! Just some random kid with a 4x4 toyota didnt know the value of the parts he had, and I was not about to tell him. LOL

I totally couldnt agree more! Another update I bought a Viper 3202V two way system for 99.00 refurb. I am thinking I may also purchase a glass breakage sensor since this thing has 5 Aux imputs.

 

what are you using to polish?

 

I strip the clear coat and paint off with a water based stipper, run a wire brush over it, Repeat 2-3 times. then coarse steel wool around the rims, 800 grit sandpaper on the spokes, 800 grit sand paper over everything, then fine steel wool, around the rim then buff with a hard cotton drill disk with mothers aluminum polish, then run a mothers powerball over that. about 4-6 hours per rim.

 

Well small update, the painter got the truck totally in primer today. I ordered a replacement carpet kit, and husky rubber floor mats to protect the new carpet. Also I go this today in the mail. Its the 3202V Viper 2 way alarm.

Well you could of got that one that has a pic of a car on it and it lights up where its getting broking into at. But that one is nice to.
