Okay, after quite a long wait, I finally got a few pictures of my 75' Toyota pickup longbed, she has 76,XXX miles on her, all original, including the mirrors, the hubcaps. It runs perfectly and will be my daily while I'm bagging my 87', Ive drove it around and put about 10 miles or so on her and it handles perfectly considering the stock items. The shocks are original ( you know what that means - its wake time baby ) She has minor rust in the bed floor, but had been undercoated in the late 80's so, very, very minimal rust underneath, all panels have some dings but no rot. . . I paid, get this, $275 cash & ran for the border with her, no leaks, shes just a lil weathered for her age, lil stuff nothing major at all, shifts like a dream, no slop in clutch and no wandering when driving. A few things to replace, but totally drivable and itll free me up as a parts hauler for my other baby. Much more to come on both my rides, so stay tuned! So here are some pictures, Let me know your thoughts . . .

Thanks for the props guys! I just cant believe how well this 33 year old girl runs & drives, I totally don't regret buying it at all . . . My favorite is my license plate  " D'oh ! Im going to get it cleaned up here and look deep. Already, Ive found $4.59 in change under the seat and glovebox. No leaks, No rust ! Everything works, lights, signals, hood latch, windows, speedometer, etc. I consider it a treasure. Ive totally dismissed cutting the top off, its staying put! Lemme hear more . . .

With a truck that old and rare, I would do whatever I could to keep the cab original. A nice suspension drop should do it some good though!

Nice find bro. If I were you I would do some modifications to it for sure but nothing that isn't reversable. Should be a nice ride with a little work.

Thanks again for all the props guys, I appreciate it. I am totally unsure what I want to do with it, but, I will static drop it, maybe put some vintiques on it. As for the color, it will stay green, I will most likely repaint it a satin green ( idea from here ) and a major upgrade it the interior, to include new soundproofing, carpet, seat/headliner/door panel refurbish, and some window tint, overall, itll be a cruiser. No massive stereo will go in this one. Hell, It still has the original working radio . . . Plans to continue to steam up as time goes on . . .

Ttally digging it man. I wish my '77 were in as good of shape. I've gotta get mine in the shop for a tear down and a face lift. I think I might bag mine after I build the hell out of the engine. I dunno, it's still up in the air. Good luck with it man, and let me know if you find any spare parts you wanna get rid of. :D

as in Purple Rain Prince? I plan on ditching all the stuff that you are too. I'm probably gonna invest in a sand blaster sometime soon to get rid of the rust.
