    yeah your sounds sound crisp! and nice and loud...not loud and distorted...great work. i want to throw thw w1s behind my seats but idk how thats gonna work...i heard it fcks up the sub? because wen the cone moves it wacks the seat and its like punching a wall?

    It depends on how much room is between the sub and seat. If there's room for the sub to move, you should sound fine. My first system was two JL 8W1's behind the seat in a different 93 Yota. Had no problems at all, sounded great. Since you put buckets in your truck, you could do a custom center console and have the subs between the seats.

    No problem! Also depending on how tall you are is if you're gonna have the room for 10's. You might look at the W1 8's. Put them in the right box and they'll sound just as good.

    i want it deep loud bass tho. im only 5'8 max...haha..but i just dnt like seeing the gap from behind the seat and the back wall...lmao...8s wont get deep enough for me i think...i like my 12s and 15s!!!....im debating on 2 12s JLw1 or 1 12in L7..

    Yeah, then an 8" won't do for you. :lol: You just might have some issues runnin anything bigger than a 10".

    Na... that wont do it.. Cut-thru would be your option for deep bass, run 2 10'' L7 or even 2 12'' L7, you be satisfied.... or if you like clean crisp bass and got extra cash then i would recommend either 1 JL 12w7 or JL 13w7 that bee plenty for some deep bass...

    Thanks, man! Still got a long way to go though. I should have the dash wrapped in grey tweed in the next week or two. Goin for the ol' skool minitruck look.

    Went to the stereo competition today. Took 2nd in my class. They had 3 different classes and devided them by cone area, so I was in the 1-160 sq in. class. I pulled a 142.7 db! :clapping:

    Yes.......yes I am.....but it very clean and clear even at high volumes.

    Thanks! I can't take the credit though. A buddy of mine did the install.
