well i do drive the 4runner daily witch hobbles along the freeway at a staggering neck breaking speed of 65 mph and dives into the ground on any uphill so yeah.... i know what slow and underpowered feels like

i know ill regret it....... much like every other truck ive sold that i owned but oh well... i tallied up a rough estimate and gathered i could probably piece out the truck for around 3800 in just aftermarket motor and trans... and ~4400 if i sold it down to bare frame....

SD, you should just keep it. I know how you feel about working on it without motivation. My truck expires in July, after i register it, it will be 2 years without being driven. I just built my house recently so the funds are out the door, I hardly have motivation, but evertime i see another nissan or Toyota (not the word nissan isnt capital hehe) on the road i get all worked up to finish her, so maybe you should just attend a show & see other nice trucks to motivate you. Well good luck

sell it, you've grown up its time for something nice.... sell it or start saving up for something luxury... Nothing beats having leg room, a comfortable ass, and a/c... now add some rims, tint, system to that and you will be in man-heaven.

thats true...... maybe i should attend a show but the usual shows around here in socal almost never show any good yotas...... good idea though :waytogo:

ive thought about this but there are a few things that hold me back from doing so.
    1) ive already purchase then sold a new truck (04 tacoma fully loaded) so i know what the "new truck feel" feels like and its cool for about a year or so till it wears off....

    2) toyota dont make a decent truck anymore and im not about to go south and buy an american model or anything else non-toyota based.

    3) if i was to buy a newer truck id get an S-Runner.... 200hp v6, 5 speed, front and rear sways, pleanty of leg room and just enough room for one lovely lady.

    4) i get the fortunate opportunity to aid in the work, repair, modify and customize a REAL nice S-Runner as it is right now and thats close enough to owning one as i wanna get to at the moment.......... and if ive been good she lets me drive it :D

so im cool........ like i had mentioned. its motivational drive i need. its not that i dont like my truck, or that i really want to sell it but it just does not have my interest in it.................plus....... i was also informed by a certain individual she would kick my @ss if i was to sell it

I gots no truck, for now
meh just keep her. If you are bored just rip everything out and try to out do yourself again. We have the technology to build it bigger, better, faster and with a new peach smell LOL. Hell rip it all out and go full electric. If I had a daily other then this truck I would convert to full electric and see how fast I could make it then.

Bring 'er up to Seattle for our June 13th meet!

Take it out to some forest trails and tear-ass around... Get some nicks, dents, and damage that you'll need to fix... Motivation right there!
