Well, grab some polishing/ rubbing compound and start working on some faded paint!!! Currently working on my $60 hood that i got from a pickypull
bad pics, whatever. just imagine the casual faded red hood next to a shiny one. $2.73 + $60 = nice hood
lol i did one hood by hand... so i did the roof and pillars of my truck with a powered buffer! still sore from both, need to do some more later on this week. I'm really suprised though, the paint before hand was non reflective, now its shiny
$60 hood from pick and pull. $2.73 for TurtleWax Polishing Compound. Shiny Hood. Wait a minute... what are you doing to the original hood?! I see you kinda smoothed out the small dent. hold up.... tape?! WTF?! STOP THAT! TAKE THE DAMN TAPE OFF! Hmm... I recognize that.... what are you doing?! Hey! DONT PAINT IT! gawddammit.. ****... you've gone too far now! You sneaky bastard... nice glittery gold rising sun!
I LITERALLY said out loud to myself "OH GEEZ" when I saw that. I was hoping for white. Pinstripe, either with paint or stripe tape, the edges of the gold in black or white. It would probably look good that way.
Yeah, I know it's not perfect at all. I believe i'll be grabbing another can of clear effex in the near future.... that tiny ass can left me spraying tiger stripes.... blah. Anyway, not as bad as i expected but better than what I thought it shouldve been. right in between. and the sun part came out bigger than expected.... haha
Less time playing with spray paint, and more time doing side jobs to buy short tires. Thats my advise. That, and to lower it more
I'm planning to take my leaf spring shackles, chop em and weld them. hopefully getting an inch out of that. fix the rust hole in my bed.... gunna use sheetmetal, no bondo for me. still thinking about cutting the fender wells and raising them an inch... tub em
