OEM is the best, but would require some more work and extra parts..You'll be fine with ebay or DDM, I have had two sets of ebay hids with no problems at all. One set has been on my bike for 4 years with no issues..but whatever you do do NOT buy the Bixenon that have a halogen bulb with them as the high, those are garbage and a complete waste of money, if you still want highs buy the bi xenon kit that has the single HID bulb but has a retractable shield for the highs, thats as close as your gonna get to OEM

it will work as it does now as long as you get the right kit
here is some info i posted a while back, it has a pic of the HID bulb you DONT want to buy
    http://www.toyotaminis.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3122&highlight=hids&page=2

here is an example of what you should get
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Bi-X...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27b163f582

here is a video of how they work, i've seen some where the shield moves instead of the bulb

its just solenoid activated, if it stops pulling the worst case is you'll have low beams only...buy it from DDM so if there is any issues you don't have to worry about fighting with some chinese ebayer to get a new bulb

VVME looks cheap but theyre kits are actually pretty dam good for the price. I installed a kit in my friend's car almost 2 years ago. and its still goin strong. no issues at all. n bulb hasnt taken a crap like some other cheap kits

No harness tho. but if you kno what your doin a relay, fuse, and some wiring and your all set

I've installed many Ebay ones which are made by Xenon and they aren't bad at all. However I would recommend the DDM ones over them. Afterall you do get the lifetime warranty as to the ebay ones only 2 yrs.

VVME do have relay harness HID kit... before you order from them, firstly check out right HID kits for your car model fitting to stock housings...

VVME Automotive Lamp Guide : VVME.COM, Car Parts, HID KIT, Tattoo Kit, Ballast, Bulbs

you'd better stick with 35w HID even though 55w hid are more bright than 35w , it generate more heat and might melt your housings....

I just bought the ddm tuning hids 8ks for my prelude and I am very satisfied with them, I also have the iteks 4300k hids with hella h4 conversion on my truck for 4yrs now and still work very good with no problems.

no way DDM is the best, sorry..but it is a decent kit...nothing beats OEM but for aftermarket Morimoto is probably the best..you can get them off The Retrofit Source online: headlight upgrades for all applications
