Hey everyone what grille is this off of? Also do you think it is a one piece, I mean does it connect all the way around the headlights or is it just the Grille by its self and they added the other parts?

 

Looks to me like an 89 and up grille, headlight surrounds, bumper, and valance painted white on an earlier truck.

 

...With a painted blue phantom insert.

 

Like Nook said. Its an 89-91 4wd 3 pc. grille (grille & headlight doors) with a 92-95 4wd bumper/valance.

 

also looks like the same era dash was swapped in. it is a fairly common swap on the 84-88s to use 89-95 grilles and bumpers. just not as common to see them body color and retain the original corner lights. looks good.

 

I was thinkin the same thing on the dash.

 

Cool thanks. Does any one know of a cool looking front end(grille,bumper,valance)that would look good on my truck tha will bolt right up?

 

What about this one? will it bolt up? not sure of the year of it though.

 

Thats the 89-91 4x4 grill, bumper & valance combo.

 

.....and it will bolt right up as long as you get the 4wd bumper brackets. You can run 4wd fenders also but you have to use 4wd corner lights.

 

Does the bumper brackets come with it when you buy them or ar the seprate?Sorry im new at this stuff.

 

Usually they're seperate. I ordered my front end (3 pc. grille, bumper, valance, and brackets) from a local junk yard. Was only $250.

guys, correct me if im wrong, but that looks like maybe the 84-88 headlight surrounds, with that 91+ grille and phantom thing u other guys stated, IMO....

cool.. i wanna be able to do the same grill as OP #1.... do you guys think it will be difficult to find a 4 runner with that 3 pc. grill?, since it's 3 piece, im thinking you can bolt on the 84-88 headlight surrounds on to it and bolt right on to the 84 pu??

 

Not sure. I know I've seen numerous 84-88's with 89-95 grilles on them. I'm sure someone here does.

 

I think they use clips to attatch the 3 pieces. Il have to check mine again. I ordered the 3pc and forgot it was a 3pc... So now my truck looks like its got black eyes...
