Hello to everyone! My father just gave me a 1984 blue toyota. these truck is very clean no rust!!!:DThe engine is not all that, my dad has always had trouble with starting the truck cause of the carburetor. He bought a new carb and he still had problems in cold weather. Not to long ago the engine went out, one cylinder has no compresion and it makes a loud knocking noise. He gave me the truck cause he didn't want to junk it cause of how good it looks and he also bought a new trans about 3 months ago. I will really love to fix the truck and give it back to him on his B-day. I want to put in a feul injection engine on it and I will really appriciate any help from the people in these forum:cool:

glad to hear a toyota is staying on the road..just fyi, if u plan on putting a 22RE (efi motor) in that truck u have alot of work ahead of you. U would need the wiring harness, ecu, afm. plus the motor..to install the wiring harness you have to take out the whole dash.. thats just fyi... whatever u decide we will try and help as much as possible

Well thank you. My pops deserves it. He really loves these truck. I'm very handy with cars, I build 4g63t engines for some sick ass street/strip cars. So that's why my dad wants to give me that truck cause he knows I'll get it moving but I just want something good and not to fast for my dad. I know he'll love his gift
