Hey everyone my name is Rick Tanner I am from mississippi.I like drag racing trucks and mudbogging fourwheelers I spend most of my time working on something in my yard.I am a big chevy fan and currentley own a 85 chevy truck,,71 chevy truck and a 94 s10 with a 355 but just aquired a 1988 toyota pickup 2wd and this is the first toyota ive ever owned and I am really starting to like it more and more so I figured I would find a good forum and this seems to be the one!

welcome. as already stated wheres the pics and whats the plans? If anything make a build-up thread and link to it...

 

I will get pics up soon its pretty ugly right now but the plans are to lower it,repaint it,and find some decent looking wheels to put on it and use it as a daily driver until I get a better paying job then maybe take the motor out rebuild it for more power.

 

There's no such thing as an ugly Yota, just a well used one.

 

well here are the pics....the mirrors will be replaced,that little thing on the bed will be gone,and probably the side skirts also

 

what's up with the pics? i can't see em. i think the 5 spoke mustang wheels look amazing on the toyotas. you should do some 4wd fenders too. and instead of rebuilding, just go with a 1uz. i would if i could.

i don't think i've ever seen a toyota with a body kit or whatever it is on that body style. it's different, but i like it. just clean it up and drive the hell out of it.

 

yeah all that body kit stuff is gonna go as soon as i get some paint and a back glass
