so i wanna go to wyotech for college in west sacramento and i wanna have some feedback on the area, and the goods and bads of sacramento. thanks guys much appreciated.

 

I think Truck Action is near that area. I'd try and hit him up.

 

west sac is pretty nice b4 i moved to iowa i lived in sacramento my brother works in west sac its not that bad and i actually toured that school it is really nice only one thing i don't like about it is my buddy went there and someone broke in and stole stuff out of peoples cars and the school doesn't insure your car if its stolen everybody only got like 100 bucks a person for stereos wheels and everything.

 

well although that sucks, its not their responcibility to insure your stuff. a good tip, is renters insurance covers anything in your vehicle too. so any tools, clothes, ect that isnt part of the vehicle is covered. it also really helps to keep receipts and photos of the items. so, its better than nothing. doesnt cover stereos, interior, and broken glass though.

and i was gonna go there too. have been through sac but didnt spend much time there.

Theres a WyoTech in Sac? I know theres a UTI there but didnt know about the wyotech. hmmm. I took a tour of the UTI school. its cool and all but im not convinced for 30k. if you have never turned a wrench and want to learn the basics then thats the way. but if you are looking to get your certs, just read the book and get a chevy small block in your garage and test your self.

But if you have the money then what the hell. i'd do it if it wasnt for the money.

 

i went to UTI in phoenix for hvac and i thought it was good school, but it is expensive, and i went in 2000 even then it was expensive for 14k.

 

i used to live there in Vallejo and Vacaville, my dad worked at Mare Island Naval Shipyard, then he got transfered to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton,WA

im the lead A/C TECH at one of the school districts in Phoenix,AZ .I love my job.u gotta bust a$$ in summertime but rest of the year is kick back, hours are coo, get all kinds of time off, full benefits, retirement,plus im 30 now n i dont wanna work the rest of my life
