And that 1st one that got posted. That is a gorgeous truck. Let me get that green one. Take that by the ocean w/ the wife. Gauranteed the wife's coming home pregnant
I hit that "ankle deep" water (actually up to my grille in other spots) going 25mph across the meadow before the pond, prior to where the truck stopped there is a deep trench which made a bow wave deep over my hood drowning the intake at 4k rpm...... it was my mistake (only the second time wheeling) and a stupid one to boot I never said it was good in the mud, or meant for it, or I was any good at wheeling also the mud is not in that pic, it's to the right side and was enough to swallow my buddies yota's on 37's f/r lockers. If someone would have posted up these trucks as their own and not craigslist ads, or said they were for mud bogging (not the first thing that pops in my mind admittedly) I would have never said a damn word. Jeesh Also I did not personally attack anyone yet people think it's ok to personally attack me. Anyways I'm done in this thread I apologize
one more for you guys.....MONSTAH! I think all you wheelers would love it here. We gots all kinds of terrain. Mountain trails (red dirt is a bitch to clean), sand, lava rock, and heres one that some of you would never think of...at the top of Mauna Kea. and heres the LAVA
93yoter, Was that pic. taken in Oregon?? You guys have such beautiful country up there ?? If I could stand the winters I would move up there. Actual trees and water to play w/.
Well I emailed the guy with the 4runner I posted. An he said they use custom made atlas or alcan springs or the 7inch Toyota ones I heard chevy aswell. But I decided now that my next project is definitely gonna be let's say hawaiian style just with a lil bigger tires.
ya it's about 10 min from my house......... can go shooting and wheeling up there, although I don't do the wet wheeling so much since that fiasco lol.........but dry it's a blast especially hitting the dirt tracks before going squeak shooting. I absolutely love southern oregon......... it's amazing here, almost on par with montana but not quite. Winter is really mild especially in the valley in Medford. Not many places where you can be in high desert, the beach, mountains, pristine water all within fairly short driving distance.
ok now that tan truck is fricken bad.............gotta love the matching wheeling trailer. That is sweet.....lava's gotta tear up some tires I would imagine. Also had no idea it snowed there.
Yep, it snows here on the summits of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea. Home of Keck telescopes and the goddess Poliahu. and I really like that tan one with the trailer bed.
This is what I want http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h202/yotaman_2006/Mobile Uploads/1263707505.jpg
