hey guys, nearly forgot about the intro...:verdict_in:

Im joel, all the way from the capital city in new zealand, just completed my trade cert in mechanical engineering, am mostly a pretty good bastard and have bought my very own run down toyo-truck.

up until now ive only really built small fords i.e did a 79 escort and am doin a 63 cortina at the mo, but have always really wanted a ute.
So when my mitsi pajero(shogun/monterey) shat its clutch out, and i was looking for a cheap run around, a 1979 rn25 jr3 hilux appeared on trademe( like ebay only smaller )
with a ridiculously low buy now price, i didnt even think about it.
And here i am, the somewhat regretably proud owner of a didnt know what i was in for ute. lol

got some pictures of it in the user build up section
    Awesome forums guys!

    Joel
