ok so needless to say ive always grown up in a gmc/ toyota family and there have always been trucks, camrys ect around. however my grandfather has always had his 86 cressida wagon. hes always had many big buicks and many caddies but ALWAYS had this cressida. recent the paint faded and engine kept overheating. ya know the occasional 2 or 3 head-gaskets along with the 2 or 3 total loss accidents. but theres always been that reliable toyota. getting to where he cant drive it any more im thinking i might buy it. and naturally the wheels get to turning and jsut letting the mind wander.. how bad a** would it be to have a wagon that had all the ammoniates of a great race car but had the drivability and disguise to fool any one. i mean yea its a wagon and its not the nicest but come on id like to see what you guys think and if youve seen this

Build it up so the chassis can handle it all. then drop in a Lexus V8 and fabricate a pretty quiet but high flowing system. Say use some large V8 mufflers and have a single outlet. that way it can be pretty quiet and still flow well. then put cutouts up front whenever you feel like raunching around.
you have the automatic with teh Lexus V8, but the manual choice is only desirable if you wanna make the bellhousings or buy one for a manual. either way the Lexus V8 would be the sex.

As for the vehicle's paint, paint it over your color choice after eliminating all rust and dents. grab some nice and wide set of wheels. I say staggered. old school Supra or Starion rims would be sexy. or some other choice you'd like!
tint the windows and do whatever else you want.

other than that, that'd be sick and should be neat!

86 cressida should have either the 5M or 7M engine. inline 6. same as the 2nd/3rd gen supras. ive seen a few badass ones with supra parts installed. same concept as the mustang/crownvic stuff. use the sports car parts on the sedan that has the same motor. look into it if you wanna be sleeper fast

Cool cars you can VIP them out or turn them into drifter most guys to a 5speed swap and a 7m or 1gz

Drifter or not you can still make it handle good without needing to drift... lol fast driver :D

I say a JZ swap should be sufficient or build up a 7M-GTE and convert it to a 5 speed. you'll have plenty of turbo power :D
