well, i was looking over my shoulder to merge on to the highway and a lady 2 cars ahead of me lost the boxes in the back of her truck(dumb b**** didn't tie them down). both boxes flew to the sides of the road, completely out of the way. she decided to slam on the brakes and thats when i looked up. i smacked an F-150 at 55 and they were almost at a dead stop:cry:. she caused 10 other cars to do the same thing. luckily, i wasn't rear-ended too. oh, and i did nothing to the other truck. not even a scratch

Since she decided to slam on her brakes, is the police saying she's at fault?

Sorry to hear that... well, you could use this as an opportunity to swap front bumpers and valances with a 89-94...

I have a couple late model bumpers shaved up you could have if you're along the way of I5 from Seattle to Vegas. I'm heading home for the holidays and you could have them on my return trip. I have a 4runner grille and lights too.

In Idaho if you slam on your brakes for no reason and the person behind you hits you, you're at fault. At least thats the way it used to be, I'll have to look into it now.

This is how the front of my truck looks now

i pulled the everything off the front and used my brothers truck to pull out the front end. the radiator was wrapped around the fan (luckily i plenty of spare parts) so i replaced that. the fan hub was jammed at an angle and wouldn't spin. i had a couple electic fans so i put one of those in along with a universal temperature switch from napa:waytogo:. fuel mileage jumped up after that. the drivers side blinker fell out of the bumper on the highway and was ripped off after being sucked under my tire:ROFL:. the drivers side of the bumper is held up by bailing wire because the bracket broke. the frame is bent a little too, so it wanders a bit on the road, but it doesnt really bother me. oh, and the front body mount on the drivers side doesnt have the rubber bushing anymore. i used a bolt and nut with a couple big washers there
