A/C Idler/adjust pulley.

    So ever since my timing chain job... i had no A/C. the A/C belt's adjuster is stuck in place and ever since has never budged.. the bolt that moves it back and forth has broken... and after multiple blows from a hammer and long pipe/ rod..... nothing so far...


    And yes, it is still stuck in place... How do i fix this?! Already took a propane torch to it!

    Damn...if you took a torch to it & that didnt help then wouldnt it be a good idea just to replace it??

    I'm gunna have to take a day and just pull off the A/C bracket and just do it that way... I swear it rust fuzed!

    I may have a extra a/c bracket i can sell you cheap. let me know if u want it

    I assume you did loosen the nut on the idler pulley first so it can move? I can't imagine one being that tight :shrug:

    Yup. Tried that. and that ended up being stripped (in other words, it was like... soft metal..)
