Thanks. I want to do it again but with a 1jz. thought about doing a mazda miata with a 1jz and a small single turbo with 5 speed.

 

i got a truck wanting a 1JZ

so the harness from phx tuning, was that the reason that it didn't run when you hooked it up or was it another issue??

i'm planning on having them make the harness for my 1uz swap.

 

Too save you and every buddy else needing a harness done, DONT LET PHOENIX TUNING DO YOUR HARNESS! they screwed mine up big time. the truck started but ran like complete crap. Had it sent to Sean with Tech2Motorsports and he found so many things wrong with it it was unbelievable. So If you want it done right the first time send it to sean. I spent almost a grand with that guy and another 500 troubleshooting his F ups. So he agreed to pay for the labor done by Sean to get the harness fixed. If you need your harness done let me know and I can get you a better deal then if you went through Josh at Phoenix Tuning.
And the work is much better

yep. its got new mirrors and paint. looks much better. ill have to post some pics when I have a chance.

 

Thats friggin awsome man! If i had the money when i did mine i would have gone a 2jz route. Still tho you really need to get 2 wheels puttin power down!

Yeah the one legger spinners are getting old haha but its funny. When I went to Seans (2jzswapper) over the weekend, he couldnt get enough of the truck. I have the Ford 8.8 already waiting to go in, just need to collect more on the funds to do so.

And got this sexy awesomeness




ACT 6 puck with HD pressure plate. Holds 522 ftlbs of torque. cant wait to use it.

Also added new mirrors to the truck and a different air intake for the filter being that the old one wasnt working well. oh and a antenna and radio lol.






And my last add on was a 1 piece rear window.

 

Installed some 2001 Saturn L bucket seats. Grand total of $40






Also installed a Pro Tach thats a lot smaller and easier to see in the location I mounted it in.
