I'm seeing a lot of people wondering where to get blocks, or having questions regarding blocks. I have been selling my Beefed Blocks on customtacos for over a year now, and I'd say 3/4 of that forum are using them now and love them. I offer any height, taper and even offset for those guys with the lean...I also offer these true bolt on rear low profile bump stops. They use a quality Energy bump that's been threaded and then welded to the 3/16" plate. They are 5/8" overall height. No drilling! They are the only true low pro bolt on's offered for our Yota's. PM me for more detals. You can also e-mail me at [email protected], or yahoo or gmail.
They are your ticket to suspension travel again. Every single person that has got them loves them. They are the answer to using nothing at all. After seeing multiple trucks with flip flops zip tied to their frames, I knew I had to come up with something..haha. These run $37.95 + shipping (USPS priority mail for $6.80) total of $44.75. PayPal or money orders. PayPal info is [email protected]. I'm a trusted and well know vendor/friend to many on the forums.
been there, hit that. No sweat, I'll be here. I'm not trying to throw this stuff in your guy's face for the sake of making a sale, just realized I've been MIA here for a while and wanted to let you guys know of a few items that could help you and your cool little trucks out.
slick looking parts. if im in the market for a set again, ill letcha know. dunno when ill be getting another truck. probably not anytime soon. and i wish i had room for 5/8" bumpstops. im about an inch off the frame. lol. i need a baby notch.
Dang man just what i was looking for. I need some new bumpstops. Im about 1/4" from axle. I surely will be hitting you up soon
$53.95 + shipping (unfortunately u-bolts sold separately, but I do have 3 options on them) I'd notch your truck for the cheapest price you'd find anywhere if you were close enough, that sucks!! Notches are my speciality. I've notched half of the CT forum. Alex dropped some stockers off to me in a box and I have a design figured out, but I got to thinking it may not be necessary since you *may* be able to just bolt on some Energy low pro's...I need to take a trip to the yard near me and check, and I'm lagging. Sounds good, I'll definitely be here, just throw me a PM when you're ready.
bout time you showed the pre-taco guys some beef love man let me reassure you guys here that this guy makes top notch (pun intended )quality parts. cheapest you'll find for the quality you will get. everyone is garateed to have a smile on their face when you get these parts put on. trust me..... your wallets and frame rails will appreciate it
I'll build whatever you want, and yes, I put a taper on anything 3" or bigger. I even taper smaller ones if they're going to be used with drop leafs. The biggest I've made was a 4-5/8" block and a 4"er, for a guy who had the *Taco Lean*, to keep his tire/fender gap the same on both sides. It's not so much a matter of if that height is safe, but more of whether or not you'll be bottoming out in the rear too much. I think 4" is probably where you'd want to stop for a decent daily without a c-notch, and low pro bumps would be in order.
yeah, and the more block there is, the more likely there is for axle wrap since your farther from the springs. im running about a 4-1/2" block with a pulled leaf. thats why im right on the axle. id notch it, but the frame is only about 3" tall, and maybe an inch above that to the bed floor. i refuse to cut the bed. so a notch wouldnt get me much more. lol. i need shorter tires.
The beauty of your guys frames is that a c-notch couldn't be easier since it's already boxed in that area. All these notches allow for a factory riding 7" rear drop and were kept under the bed and the last one has extra Beef since he drifts....the deepest and strongest on the market for sure! And best of all, specifically designed for the Toyota frames. If your lowered, there is no way around a c-notch if you want a smooth ride. It's a MUST.
those look good. the last one is how im gonna do mine for sure. just need some steel and time on the welder. then i can move my rear shackle up, and redrill the front hanger. ive said it before, but i wont be happy until im static'd onto the dirt. lol.
The leaf hanger and shackle raise is for sure on my to do list also....then I'll run a 1" or 2" block instead of the 4"ers I have now. And I know about 6 people that will be in line for theirs after I make my thread. Front inner fenders & leaf hangers are the 2 most needed items to be redone, and they're coming soon. And btw, that last one was a idea I had to give me some reasurance since I knew he needed the deep notch for his low rear, but also needed some extra for long term metal fatigue for his drifting. I used up that gap between the frame & bed.
sweet. sounds like you found a nice little niche market for yourself. the 78 and older trucks share pretty much nothing in common. even the blocks need to be different. my hanger i can move the sping up maybe 1/2-3/4" and the shackle i can probably move up an inch or two by making it wrap around the frame and go through, instead of hanging under. might even be able to use some extra dodge/chevy parts i have in the shop. dunno yet. i just wanna be able to tuck harder in the rear. carrier crossmember and exhaust are first though. i need some welder time for sure. lol.
