Not sure, If I were to use the taco corners I'd probably go out and buy some aftermarket fenders to cut up. My guess is it would be cheaper than to fabricate the seatings for the corners.

Couldn't tell you. I picked up the tailgate off of craigslist. The guy said it was custom made for him. I loved it so I picked it up. I think when I have a roll pan done, the indent will make it look like some sort of silhouette of a bumper from behind.

    Update

    Thanks for the bump!

So Last weekend I decided to help out the in-laws. I ended up stripping down the 4runner with what I could sell/use without it being too noticeable. I ended up driving the 4runner with stock steelies off a tundra down to the Toyota Dealers here and used it as a "Cash For Clunkers" trade in for the In-laws. I ended up getting them the full 4500 rebate. I know it was headed off to the crusher but financially I knew it was a smart choice. The Runner needed a rebuild before I could sell it and I already had a price in my head for 1500 in a as-is state (Taking a loss). With the 4500 to the In-laws, spare goodies, some rims/tires, HID's, Air Horn, radio and some other odds and ends I could use on the other truck, I just had to do it. And on top of all that, The In-laws gave me their 99 Honda Accord LX. So if any of you local guys here in San Diego are looking to buy some big a$$ rims and tires, hit me up! I also have a set of 2" spacers.

    Fender trade?

I've got a pair of (2X)OEM 2WD fenders off of my 92 I have no need for.

I also have an (1X) aftermarket driver side 4WD fender that I don't need either.

I don't think I can get much for them so how bout a trade? What do you got?

Yeah I do know what you mean. The problem with me is that I don't realize what I had until I got rid of it... Man I miss my VW's!

Why don't you just work on it yourself?

I'm no mechanic but I do enjoy working on things I do know and if I don't know how to do it, I watch over someone else's shoulder and see how they do it. You'll feel more confident in your ride overall.

    Update

So last Tuesday I had a local shop make and install a raised tranny Xmember for me. Exhaust was raised as well. Muffler was replaced for clearance issues also. It's still nice and quiet. A lower leveled stance now... It's getting there.
So Last Wednesday evening (around 5ish), I went and ordered my drop spindles through Stillen.com. They ended up arriving Today at Noon. That's crazy fast and the shipping was FREE! My plans were to order in time so I can start installing them next Friday but they're already here. If the wifey let's me I'll try and do them this weekend. I'll try and post pix tonight.

what did you use to secure the 4runner center console to the floor of your truck?
